Something bigger is taking shape
Today, there are countless resources available to learn French and languages in general. Yet, many learners still struggle. Not just with the language itself, but also with the method, structure, organisation, goals, discipline, motivation, psychology and mindset needed to make progress.
That’s what I’ve been exploring through my content: the language, of course, but also the method, communication, philosophy, psychology and mindset behind effective learning.
I’d like to bring these reflections, my own experiences and learnings, and eventually those of other learners together into something more substantial, perhaps a book.
Some of the ideas I want to explore,
- The philosophy and mindset behind learning a language
- How we approach, organise and structure our learning
- Motivation, discipline and building sustainable habits
- The psychology of learning and communicating
- Finding your own voice in another language and building a relationship with a language
- The methods and approaches that can make learning more meaningful
But the book is still taking shape. I want the questions, conversations, experiences and perspectives gathered through this project to help shape what it eventually becomes.
